Why Planning Must?

One night 4 MBA students were boozing till late night and didn't study
for the test which was scheduled for the next day.

In the morning they thought of a plan. They made themselves look as
dirty and weird as they could with grease and dirt. They then went up to the
dean and said that they had gone out to a wedding last night and on their
return, the tyre of their car burst and they had to push the car all the way
back and that they were in no condition to appear for the test.

The dean was a just person so he said that you can have the retest
after 3 days.

They said they will be ready by that time. On the third day they
appeared before the dean. The dean said that this was a special condition test.

All four were required to sit in separate classrooms for the test. They
all agreed as they had prepared well in the last three days.

The test consisted of only 2 questions with total of 100 marks.

Q.1. Write down your name -----(2 marks)
Q.2. which tyre burst ? -------(98 marks) !!

Punjabi Guts

Bill Gates organized an enormous session to recruit a new Chairman for Microsoft Europe. 5000 candidates assembled in a large room. One candidate is Santa Singh an Indian (Punjabi) guy. Bill Gates thanked all the candidates for coming and asking those who do not know JAVA program to leave.

2000 people leave the room. Santa says to himself, 'I do not know JAVA but I have nothing to lose if I stay. I'll give it a try' Bill Gates asked the candidates who never had experience of managing more than 100 people to leave. 2000 people leave the room. Santa says to himself ' I never managed anybody by myself but I have nothing to lose if I stay. What can happen to me?' So he stays.

Then Bill Gates asked candidates who do not have management diplomas to leave. 500 people leave the room. Santa says to himself, 'I left school at 15 but what have I got to lose?' So he stays in the room.

Lastly, Bill Gates asked the candidates who do not speak Serbo - Croat to leave. 498 people leave the room. Santa says to himself, ' I do not speak one word of Serbo - Croat but what do I have to lose?' So he stays and finds himself with one other candidate. Everyone else has gone.

Bill Gates joined them and said 'Apparently you are the only two candidates who speak Serbo - Croat, so I'd now like to hear you have a conversation together in that language.' Calmly, Santa turns to the other candidate and says 'Hor veere ki haal chaal hai?.' The other candidate answers ' O Vadiya veere, tu Sunna'

Time to Shape Your Career

Friends, Industry is suffering from the recession these days. Companies are reducing their man power. Jobs are decreasing. Companies are firing their staff.
Students who already got appointment letters from MNC's in campus placement are not getting joining dates.
Now the question is how do students get over come from this crisis. But they still not need to worried about this. A little patience and dedication can make difference. In multinational companies only under-performing employees are being fired. If you want to survive then you need to do little extra hard work and stand out of the crowd.

There are a lot of engineering students who pass out every year. It's not possible to each engineer to get the job he like. But you can secure your career in future if you struggle now. Don't expect much and try to get job in corporate companies. No matter either they are paying you or not. No matter either company is MNC or Domestic. But try to get entry in corporate world where you could spend 9 hours and observe the corporate environment. It will help you to develop yourself as a professional.

Some Extensive Features of Management

My student life at GGSCET comes to end. I am under industrial training in my last semester. I will get very less chances to visit my college campus again.
Today I would like to share some things regarding the management and staff of the college.
It's not much hyped college among the people who want to enroll in engineering courses. But really I am very admired from the college and people here.

I would like to start from Dr. Narinder Singh ( Director ). He has a vast experience in management. He know how to deal with students. He is very strict in campus but his strictness is in the favor of students. He is strict and disciplined because he don't want to loss the study of his students. He meet his students with love and affections outside the college campus even after the completion of their study. He always eager to know about his students growth and career after the completion of their degrees.

Second person who inspired me is our principal Col. Dr. B.S. Dhaliwal. He is very dedicated and worked a lot for his students. He worked on overall personality development of his students. He encourage them to participate in sports. That's why our college is champion in sports. He listen to the students and always try to solve their issues. One thing I remember once my friend had left the examination hall after just 30 minutes of starting the exam. But our principal caught him and asked why he is not giving the exam. Principal sir called him in his office and did a counseling with him. Then that student start working hard and scored very good marks next time. He even cleared his all reappears in very next chance.

Here I got opportunity to learn from some of the best teachers I have seen ever.
Ms Jyoti Bansal our HOD Computer is very helping and brilliant teacher.
Ms. Baljinder Kaur HOD Electronics is a great teacher with very vast knowledge of her field.
Mr. Manish Mittal, Mr. Bhim Sen Singla, Ms. Seema Brar, Ms. Loveleen Kaur and many more were great teachers.

Ms. Kamalpreet Kaur Training placement officer is also very sincere and worked a lot for the better future of all students.

Each and every person in the staff is very supporting and here I can't discuss every here. So will talk to you later regarding others...

Thanks
